Bartaco Signage Goes Up at One Loudoun
Bartaco — the taqueria chain known for its street tacos, patio vibe, and extensive margarita menu — has officially posted signage at its new location inside One Loudoun. It's moving into a newly built phase of the center that's still under construction.
Bartaco operates more than 30 locations nationally, with two existing Virginia locations at Reston Town Center and the Mosaic District in Fairfax. One Loudoun will be its third Virginia location. No firm opening date has been set, but the brand is targeting sometime before the end of 2026.
The Backspin Signs a Lease at Loudoun Station
A new business called The Backspin has signed a lease at Loudoun Station — the retail, office, and residential hub off Shellhorn Road near the Ashburn Metro stop. It's taking over the roughly 12,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by The Zone, the kids' entertainment center that offered laser tag, bowling, and an onsite restaurant and bar.
Full concept details haven't been released yet, but the space sits inside a center that already includes the AMC movie theater, Señor Tequila's, Burger 21, and Famous Toastery.
Bobby's Bagel Cafe Plans a Second Loudoun Location
Bobby's Bagel Cafe — already finishing buildout at Countryside Marketplace and preparing a Sterling location — is now planning a second Loudoun County store, also inside Loudoun Station, taking over the former Kung Fu Tea space near the Metro stop.
Three locations in progress across Loudoun County in a matter of months is a meaningful expansion pace for a single brand.
